Maybe at first Cristine doesn’t like Andrew but when days pass they began to be closed each other and then friendship turn into love. So her influence was very helpfuly because she gave him all the support he needed in his career for being a good doctor, everytime he has an obstacle she gave him the courage and patient to resist to everything and everyone, and for the most important: to never forget where he came from, always with love and affection.
I think that the doctors of the General Medical Council who support him were all right because what he want to do is a benefit for all the people in the town, something that others doctors haven’t doing, and the other doctors who made arguments against him they are wrong because they only care about how many money are making instead of helping others, they want the easy job by giving medicines that they even know if really works.
If Iwere ill the only doctor I would be happy to ask for a treatment to Dr. Andrew Manson, he is very kind and he knows his work better than anyone else. Because of their bad treatment to the patients I would never asked to the other doctors, and if I do it they only would concern in how money I have so they can deceive me and took away all.
For me the most import for a doctor is in the number of patients he had saved becausse no matter how many degrees a doctor have if he doesn’t used appropriately by saving lifes of people in need. You may have an excelent cualification of the most difficult exam, but that is all theory not the real life with real people with real problems who are waiting for someone to help them to solve it.
Andrew ad Cristine had a little argument at the begining, but we know how is love: hate becames love. Cristine always supports Andrew, he feels sure with her, that is because she is honest, confident and patient, she is not interested in money instead she is interested in Andrew as a person and as husband.
Andrew is only interested in being a good doctor, he wants him patients to be cured, the other doctors are only interested in making money that´s what makes Andrew feel angry. He tries to do the best he can while other people is only thinking about money and, to make matters worse, they give the patients “medicines” that are not medicines.
I would ak for treatment to doctor Andrew, that´s because he is patient and he knows how to treat people and also because he knows a lot of things about the area of medicine. I would not ask for the other doctors because they only care about money, they don´t know about illnesses, they pretend to be doctors but they are not, they are also selfish, arrogants unconfiable.
The most important thing is the umber of patients a doctor saves, you can´t depen o a degree, I know people who have a degree and they are not good at the area they received the degree. Maybe the person didn´t have money to get a degree but he or she has the hability. Unfortunately nowdays we are based on degrees, if you don´t have one you are not anybody, that´s what people says, it should not be like that, there are succesful people who doesn´t have a degree and other people didn´t go to the uiversity and now they have business, so we hae to look forward the person not to the degree.

1.- Christine was a very intelligent and good wife who persuade Andrew when he struggles against a system that seems to value money more than curing illness.
2.- The arguments against Andrew were in order to disqualify him from practising because they didn’t accept Stilman and think he was a danger to the profession.
I think Dr. Andrew do the best to cure Mary Boland and send the case to Mr. Stilman in order to help Mary’s life.

I think that Christine didn´t have a good impression of Andrew when she met him in the school, but when they talked in her house ,they had a good time,and Andrew noticed that he loved her. Because she was honest patient and she did´t care about money she became Andrew´s support.
Andrew was very desappointed when he noticed that the system was really bad and angry because all the doctors he met were only interested in money, so he tried to do the best to cure people and wanted to improve the system.
I would ask doctor Andrew for my treatment because he is honest, he always try to do a good work, and also knows how to treat people. I wouldn´t ask an other because , a doctor needs to know a lot about medicine but, they didn´t know all about illneses, they only care about money and do everything to abtain it.
I think that the most important is the nunber of patient a doctor served, because medicine is like mathematics: you have to practice if you want to be the best, is the only way to become an expert person, in this case an expert and a good doctor.
First impression was awful. At first they did not like each other, as Andrew, in his stuborn, was very rude with Christine, just seeing facts from his point of view, without thinking that Christine, being more familiar with the people of that town, would had known better which was the best for the kid. However, after knowing each other better, Andrtew could be able to find in Christine the strengh to keep his ideas and to be a good doctor among men who just did not care about their patiences, and who had forgotten the real sense of medicine, threating and supporting peolple.
Andrew is right and the doctors who suportted him in the General Medical council were the one that really saw their proffesion as a way to help people and not as a simple wayb to get a hight income. Andrew’s experience shows how life sometimes dissapoint those whose valious are solid.
I would definetely ask Dr.Andrew Mason for treatment, because he is a good profesional, a conscious man a a resonsable doctor. After reading about the way he treats his patients he’d definetely be the best option anyone could chose.
The actitud towards Stilman is completely unfair. A doctor is no made of titles or degrees, a phd does not make anyone a better person, but his dedication and succes does. I definetely think a real doctor is the one that savs patients, worry about them and parctise his profesion in the most humain and responsable way.

But with the pass of time they could knew very well each other and look the positive things. They started a relation as a husband and wife, and it was a strong one based in trust and kindness.
Andrew care about people and he uses his profession to help them, no matter the income or the advantages he receives or not as all those people who supported him in the General Medical Council. I think he did the right thing because doctors are made to help not to take advantages and make suffer the people intencionaly becuase of money, and with this we can realise the truth that we are living in these days.
Dr. Andrew is the best option!! Because he is honest, he knows a loot of medical treatment, and know how to treat a patient, in general hi is a real profesional doctor. The other selfish doctoer that mention in the book are not enough for cure people because they don’t care about the ill people they only do it for money.
The doctor who saves more lifes is more important becuase he uses what he learns and no matter if he had a lot of title or degrees, that does’t mean that he knows how to make that knowledge in to the real life in to real situation. 1.- weel Christine I think that Christine don’t a good impression of Andrew when they met, but when they had the oportunitie to talk in her house ,they spended a good time,and Andrew felt in love with her, because she demostrate that she was honest patient, inteligent and don’t care about money.

I think the most important thing when taking a job, whatever it is, is to enjoy yourself in doing what you like to do. In this case, Andrew was a passionate man, who loved taking care of others. He took his job seriously not as a joke, like most of the doctors in that town did, and that is what makes him a professional.
Health is a very general and delicate issue. doctors can’t take lifes away as if they were Gods. When we go to the doctor, we trust in him or her because they have the title of “Doctors”, but what is behind that mask?
Maybe is a fake doctor that makes fake medicines, like in the story. We never know.
It’s true that companies and hospitals always see your curriculum before hiring you, so if they see a degree or a PHD they are convinced for, they hire you. The thing is that not all the ones that have titles end being good doctors. sometimes, experience and the number of patients treated are the most reliable sourses.
